This mechanical adjustable attenuator (collimator principle type) is at the same time a continuously adjustable attenuator, the attenuation value can be realized in the range of 0.8~60dB. The attenuator is manually adjusted by rotating the adjustment button, using the principle of misalignment when the collimator is accurately aligned, so as to achieve the purpose of adjustable attenuation value, and its accuracy can be as high as 0.1dB. It is widely used in fiber optic communication systems, active device testing, and higher precision passive device testing.
